| Description: | A client was awarded a five-year contract with Region III of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to provide Emergency Response Clean-up Services (ERCS). Under this contract, the EPA had requested remediation services at several Superfund clean-up sites, including the site located in Orange County, Virginia, near the town of Orange. Provided engineering/consultant services to develop a Dam Restoration Design for a small lake whose earthen dam was damaged by record rainfall. The design project involved developing drainage calculations, flood routing, and a site plan including proposed dam grading and fill details, primary spillway structure and outfall piping. Other services included on-site construction assistance and a deed search at County Courthouse. |
