| Description: | The Virginia Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) notified the client that a review of the Closure report that was submitted indicated that additional investigations were required. Services were provided that included: five soil borings to a depth of 30 feet around tank basins 1 and 2; soil samples collected at five foot intervals and analyzed for TPH and BTEX; installation of a monitoring well in close proximity to tanks 4 and 5; ground water sampling and analyses for TPH and BTEX from this well and from monitoring wells 2, 3, 4, and 6; preparation of the SCR Addendum Report; and preparation of the application for reimbursement from the VA tank trust fund. |
