| Description: | Personnel met with the client to develop a sampling schedule. Automatic sampling equipment was set up to collect flow proportionate composite sampling of the facility's effluent at manhole #3 for three typical workdays when the pretreatment facility was not discharging supernatant. Since the discharge was relatively constant from the facility, time weighted composite sampling was used. Sample containers, coolers, and instructions were provided so that client's personnel could collect samples of the supernatant from the pretreatment facility on three separate batch cycles. Samples were analyzed for BOD, TSS, oil & grease, pH, arsenic, cadmium, chromium, copper, cyanide, lead, mercury, nickel, silver, and zinc. A report was prepared that summarized the sampling and the results. |
