| Description: | Provided in-house 16-Hour OSHA HAZWOPPER/SPCC training for maintenance, dye house, and finishing personnel corresponding to the OSHA First Responder Operations Level. Training consisted of classroom and hands-on instruction along with a competency exam. The training covered all aspects of chemical and hazard recognition including MSDSs, labeling systems, and chemical families. Also included was the use of PPE, spill scenarios, and emergency scenarios. This training allowed the facility teams to respond to spills below PEL level exposure, minor spills, and to provide auxiliary aid to HAZMAT teams if involved. |
